Retail and boutiques

Art that frames the product, and never upstages it.

Store walls are merchandising space, so art has to earn its place: it should set a tone, give the fitting-room corridor and the cash desk a finish, and photograph well behind product, without pulling the eye off the shelves.

DecoSwift bundles work in retail because they are composed as a quiet system: a defined palette, consistent scale, and a placement guide that keeps art out of the sightlines that sell. The commercial display license covers the store and the photos you shoot in it.

Bundles that fit retail and boutiques

Three Chromatic Drift prints in black frames on a white studio wall above a dark sofa and a yellow armchair.

Chromatic Drift from $199 per set

Glowing colour fields on charcoal for fashion, eyewear and design stores with dark fit-outs.

Two large Linen Grid prints in thin black frames with wide white mats on a plain white wall, above a white counter stool and a potted snake plant, with a bright window at the right.

Linen Grid from $189 per set

Architectural line work frames merchandise without competing with it, from fitting rooms to the cash wrap.

Every bundle: five original 16×20 inch prints (4:5), a placement guide and a commercial display license; larger sizes on quote. One to four sets by card, five or more at 15% off by quote.

Where the prints go

Cash desk

One 16×20 behind the counter, the piece that appears in every checkout photo.

Fitting rooms and corridor

One 16×20 per fitting room, facing the mirror, and one at the corridor end.

Feature wall

A larger quoted print, or a trio of 16×20, on the wall that frames a hero display, hung above the product line.

Window

Usually none. Keep the window for product; art belongs in the depth of the store.

Sizing for retail and boutiques

Retail art hangs above the product line, so centres sit higher than usual: 62 to 66 inches above shelving, 57 to 60 behind a desk. Use a 16×20 behind the cash desk and in fitting rooms, and a trio or a larger quoted print on a feature wall.

Questions from retail and boutiques

Will the art distract from the merchandise?

Not if it is placed above the product line and in the transition zones: cash desk, fitting rooms, corridors. The placement guide in each bundle marks exactly those positions.

Can we rotate the art seasonally?

Yes. A bundle's five prints share one frame size, so you can swap pieces between the stockroom and the wall in minutes and keep the rest in storage.

Does the license cover our product photography?

The commercial display license covers display in the buyer's premises, including walls that appear in your own photography, lookbooks and social posts.

What about a chain of stores?

Order the same bundle per store; five or more sets take 15% off, and the trade program handles staged rollouts for ten or more.
